Alternatives to the Cinque Terre: the rest of the Ligurian coast, town by town
35 towns · 1 region · the complete list
Lerici, Liguria
The Cinque Terre are five villages on a stretch of coast that has about forty more of them. The trains that carry people to Vernazza go straight through towns that look the same from the water and have room in them at lunchtime.
Here is the whole Ligurian coast in our catalogue with the five taken out: 35 towns from Ventimiglia's hinterland to Portovenere. Portofino is left in, because it is a working harbour and its own kind of answer. Best-recognised first; use the box for a name.
